Cadar™ Jewelry Opens Nyc Showroom
Fine Jewelry Design Studio & Showroom Will Be Located in the Fuller Building on 57th Street & Madison Avenue
NEW YORK, NY (April 18, 2016) – CADAR™, a fine jewelry brand by award-winning designer Michal Kadar, today announced the signing of a lease for its flagship atelier, to be located in the renowned Fuller Building at 595 Madison Avenue in New York City. CADAR was exclusively represented by Faith Hope Consolo, Chairman of Douglas Elliman’s retail leasing and sales division. The announcement was made today by Michal Kadar, Founder and Creative Director of CADAR.
“This is a very exciting time for CADAR, and I am so pleased that our flagship atelier will be housed in New York City’s distinguished Fuller Building. It is the beginning of a new chapter in the development of our business, and this compelling setting will provide the ideal environment for our brand to welcome clients,” said Kadar.
The fifth floor, 4,190-square-foot space will serve as CADAR’s design studio and gallery, as well as a showroom for retailers. Kadar will oversee the design and development of the CADAR atelier, and it is anticipated that construction will be completed in early Fall 2016. An innovation in mixed-use design, the
historic 40-story Art Deco skyscraper was architected by Walker & Gillete in 1929. A destination for many of the world’s most prominent galleries, the tower’s lower floors with high ceilings were designed specifically for this purpose and, since its opening, many of the city’s leading art dealers have been tenants.
“I am honored to have had the opportunity to exclusively represent CADAR in the acquisition of its first commercial real estate property,” said Consolo. “The Fuller Building is a Manhattan icon, and I cannot think of a better location for the extraordinary CADAR Collection. It has been an absolute privilege to work with Michal. There is no doubt that CADAR will be incredibly successful in the years to come.”
